AGU IMO, admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1988

Mr. Imo graduated from University of Nigeria at Enugu.

Mr. Imo was at a time the Assistant Legal Adviser/Company Secretary in Unity Life and Fire Insurance Company Limited from where he joined the top Nigerian Solicitors firm of Irving and Bonnar in 1990. While in Irving and Bonnar between 1990 and 1996, he worked directly on various matters relating to lending and security documentation and also was extensively involved in the capital market department. These matters in the main involved the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and other regional finance organisations such as the African Development Bank (ADB). Amongst the IFC projects were the Africa Enterprises Fund projects such as Agro-Technical Services Ltd., Canplas Ltd., Vicoda Ltd.; to much larger composite lendings such as Afprint Ltd., General Cotton Mill Ltd., First Securities Discount House Ltd., Abuja International Diagnostic Centre Ltd. and Tourist Company of Nigeria Ltd. With regard to purely capital market matters he was directly involved in the TCPC managed divestment of Federal Government of Nigeria shares in First Bank of Nigeria Plc. as well as Tourist Company of Nigeria Ltd, former owners of Federal Palace Hotel. He was also involved in numerous public and private issues of several blue chip companies such as PZ Industries Plc. and John Holt Industries Plc.  He is a member of the Nigerian Insurance Law Association (NILA) as well as the International Bar Association. He is a Director and Co-ordinator, Sports and Entertainment Law Association (Ltd/Gte). 



IKENNA OKOLI, admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 1989. 

Mr. Okoli graduated from University of Nigeria at Enugu. He holds a Masters in International Law and Diplomacy from University of Lagos and LL.M (International Business Law) from University of London. He has post graduate international practice diplomas in International Arbitration, International Intellectual Property Law, International Commercial Law, International Joint Ventures and International Mergers and Acquisitions from the College of Law of England and Wales. 

Mr. Okoli is a fellow of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) where he is also an approved tutor and examiner. He is also an IBA Fellow in International Legal Practice.

He worked with the leading law firm of Kola Awodein & Co., where he is still a consultant. He was admitted as Notary Public of Nigeria in 1998. He has been involved in many complex cases both at the trial and appellate courts. He is one of Nigeria’s leading public interest litigators. In Faith Okafor v Lagos State Government & Anor. (2016) LPELR-41066; (2017) N.W.L.R. (Pt. 1556) 404,  Mr. Okoli, on behalf of the appellant, Faith Okafor, successfully challenged the restriction of movement for environmental sanitation in Lagos State on the last Saturday of every month. The Court of Appeal in a landmark judgment inter alia declared the restriction of movement of residents on environmental sanitation days as unlawful, illegal and unconstitutional. Pursuant to this judgment the Lagos State Government consequently cancelled the monthly environmental sanitation exercise in Lagos State, with its attendant economic benefits. He has also been involved in local and international arbitrations. He has written and published articles and papers on diverse legal subjects. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Apogee Journal of Business, Property and Constitutional Law. He is a member of the editorial advisory board of Monthly Report of Supreme Court Judgments (MRSCJ).  He has attended numerous conferences, workshops and trainings both locally and internationally. He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Bar Association, The Nigerian Society of International Law. He is a Director and Co-ordinator, Sports and Entertainment Law Association (Ltd/Gte), Human Rights and Empowerment Project (Ltd/Gte).


KELECHI OKEKE, admitted to the Nigerian Bar in 2014.

Mr. Okeke graduated from Anambra State University Uli, (now Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University).

He worked in the Department of Public Prosecutions Asaba, Delta State during his National Youth Service.  He worked with the law firm of L’avocat Legal Practitioners.

Mr. Okeke is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
